Just a note for any Spokane locals who might be reading:

The next meeting of the Spokane Comicsmiths' Guild is this coming Sunday the 15th, at Merlyns, starting at 3 pm. Anyone is welcome, and we're always looking to meet other local artists, writers and creators.

Also, the Spokane County Library Crafty Club is tomorrow, Friday the 13th, at the Moran Prairie branch, starting at 7 pm.

Feel free to leave a comment if you would like additional information about either event.

I sent an email to Ready Made http://www.kyrs.org/showprofile.cfm?id=1249667695477
Its an Art Radio Program on Kyrs Thin Air 92.3fm. I gave them a bunch of info on our group, and our main event coming up, 24 hour comic day. I also gave them links to our blog and deviantart page, as well as my website and number. I hope they will give us an on air shout out. It could be possible they even invite us on the air :D

I got a big kick seeing your deviantID pic , I had a similar pic of me published in the Cincinnati Enquirer's " Entertainment " insert back in '97 - different angle but the same shot of " artist hunkered down over the drawing board " when I was 36 . Similar hairstyle , close cropped beard and glasses - it was like looking back in time .
